There are many indications that Chrysler will be launching an EV model called the Airflow, although not all details have been confirmed. The company revealed the concept. It’s a compact crossover with a striking design that could be inspired by an EV platform owned by Chrysler parent Stellaris. Stellantis will be called STLA Medium. Stellantis’ latest battery technologies have been revealed so far. The Airflow could be capable of driving up to 44 miles. The Airflow could become available in 2024 as a 2025 version. It will compete with other electric vehicles such as the Ford Mustang Mach-E and the Tesla Model Y.
What’s new for 2025?
The Chrysler Airflow, which will be a completely new model from Stellantis as part of the automaker’s extensive line of electric vehicles, is expected to be the first. Already, the company registered its Airflow brand name with connections to an old Chrysler model from the 1930s.
Transmission, Engine, and Performance
According to the information that Chrysler has already released, Airflow will use electric motors producing between 261 horsepower and 167 horsepower. A single-motor configuration with rear-wheel drive or front-wheel drive is possible. There’s also the possibility of a dual motor configuration that provides all-wheel driving.
Range, Charging, & Battery Life
Stellaris claims vehicles built on the STLA Medium platform can offer a range of up to 440 miles of driving. While we don’t know how this will impact Airflow, it is likely to be able to travel 300 miles to keep it in line with other long-range EVs like Tesla and Ford. Connectivity and Infotainment
Airflow’s concept includes multiple display screens.
