The Subaru Crosstrek, while it is not a rock-crawling offroader like the Impreza hatchback, is rugged, economical, and fuel-efficient. This will remain the case when the Crosstrek enters its 2024 model year. Subaru has not changed Crosstrek’s styling. The interior of the Crosstrek should look exactly like its 2023 model.
It should also be as spacious and practical as ever. Subaru has yet to announce details about the Crosstrek’s engine changes in the U.S. Subaru claims its seats have been upgraded to be more comfortable and less likely to cause head tossing. New camera modules are available in EyeSight’s driver assistance bundle. Soon, the 2024 Crosstrek will also be available in North America. It will be available in North American form by 2023.
What’s new in 2024?
It may look very similar in appearance to the 2023 Crosstrek, but the 2024 model has been completely redesigned. This is the start of the third-generation subcompact crossovers.
The new Crosstrek 2024 will be based on the same design as the last model. We expect the new Crosstrek 2024 to follow the same formula as the previous model. Subaru has not yet disclosed the price or number of trims. The 2024 Crosstrek starts at $25,000, with higher-end models becoming more expensive as more features are added.
Engine
Subaru will offer Crosstrek in Japan with a hybrid engine. The powertrain includes a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor. This powertrain is known as an e-Boxer. We expect that the manual will be discontinued. The previous model offered a choice between a six-speed stick transmission (CVT) or a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG
Crosstrek’s fuel-economy estimates have not been released by the EPA. It is impossible to predict Crosstrek’s fuel economy as it is not possible to know which powertrains it will be equipped with. Designs
The Crosstrek is expected to be just as spacious as its predecessor and to carry as much cargo as it can. Subaru claims that the seat design has been made more comfortable and that sound-deadening materials have been added to reduce vibrations and noises. While leather upholstery is available, most trims will come with cloth upholstery. Models of higher quality will have patterned inserts and silver stitching. Connectivity and infotainment
Photos show that the Crosstrek 2024 will have the same 11.6-inch infotainment display as other Subaru models such as the Outback station wagon and the WRX sports car. We expect this large screen to be an upgrade on the Crosstrek. Expect both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay to be standard.
The updated cabin features a large vertically-oriented touchscreen, just like other Subaru models. There are also new seats available. EyeSight’s driver assistance technologies have been improved by upgrades to the camera system.
2024 Subaru Crosstrek Price & Release Date
Although pricing and release dates are still unclear, there may be an incremental increase in the $23,645 MSRP. The 2024 Crosstrek will remain an attractive option for buyers who want the functionality and size of a hatchback and the versatility of a crossover. The revised Crosstrek will be released early next year, although no official release date has been set.
