For the 2024 model year, the Jeep Wrangler will also be available as a carrying-over model. There are two options for the SUV: the Wrangler Unlimited or the Unlimited. It will remain a rugged alternative to many other crossovers.
Jeep has yet to release 2024 Wrangler specs or photos. However, an early report suggests Wrangler diesel could be discontinued. The 2020 Wrangler introduced the 3.0L EcoDiesel V6. It provided a significant increase in torque over the standard V6.
2024 Jeep Wrangler Redesign
The initial Wrangler diesel was released with 260 horsepower, 442 lb-ft torque, and 442 lb-ft. The V6 engine produced 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. The 2L 4-cylinder engine produced 270 horsepower and 295 pounds of torque. In 2021, an optional plug-in called the Wrangler4xe was added.
RAM has dropped the Wrangler diesel, which may not be surprising as they will also drop their 1500 EcoDiesel in the year 2023. The official Wrangler diesel changes for 2024 are not yet known. A forum post claimed that the final Rubicon Diesel edition will be available. Fleet production data doesn’t yet indicate a 2024 Wrangler launch. The 2023 Wrangler production started in the summer of 2022. This could indicate that the 2024 Wrangler may be available next year at the same time.

2024 Jeep Wrangler Release Date & Price

Engine
The 2021 Jeep unveiling of the Magneto was a concept version of the Wrangler EV. Unique electric powertrain features make the Magneto unique. It features a 285-hp motor with a 6-speed manual transmission. Four batteries are included. Wrangler EV is expected to have a traditional electric powertrain that includes one battery pack, no transmission, and one or two electric motors. The Wrangler’s range is unknown.
Interior & Exterior
The interior and exterior of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler will likely look very similar to current-generation Wranglers. The Magneto concept shows a two-door body. However, it is not clear if there will ever be a Wrangler EV that has a four-door option. Wrangler EV will feature a removable roof, doors, and windows for open-air driving.
In 2024, the Wrangler Electric Vehicle is expected to be available. There will also be an all-electric Jeep model. Jeep released teaser images of a Jeep EV. It will be available for purchase in the first quarter of 2023. Jeep also offers electrified Jeep models that come with the Wrangler4xe or Grand Cherokee4xe plug-in hybrids.
Stellantis, the parent company of Jeep, has ambitious electrification plans. The automaker will produce many more electric vehicles over the next few years. Stellantis will launch the Ram ProMaster van and the highly anticipated Ram 1500 electric pickup truck in 2023. Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares claims that the Ram 1500EV will be more efficient than other electric trucks in terms of driving range, charging, and towing.
