The 2024 Hyundai Sonata will be available the next year, or not. There are many rumors about the Sonata’s arrival. Many rumors claim that the Sonata will soon be discontinued after the current model is sold. However, it is not clear if it will be discontinued.
We believe that the Hyundai Sonata will be sold in the US for the 2024 model because it is one of the most popular and well-received sedans in this segment. Also, its 2020 and 2021 sales reports have been positive.
2024 Hyundai Sonata Review
It sold more than 93,000 units in the United States in the 2021 fiscal year. However, the 2022 sales report for the company is still not available. According to sales reports, it does not appear that the Hyundai Sonata will be discontinued. The Hyundai Sonata is also ranked third in the sedan segment, behind the Honda Accord and Kia K5. This is, as you all know, the most competitive Sedan segment.
It is unlikely that the Hyundai Sonata 2024 will be redesigned for this generation. Hyundai may make minor updates to the vehicle for the 2024 model year, including new Horizontal LED lights and changes in its features. Hyundai has yet to release any information regarding the next Hyundai Sonata.
Interior
The interior of the Hyundai Sonata hybrid is very luxurious. The base trim is the best example of material quality and softness. Upgraded materials at the Limited level give the Sonata Hybrid a luxurious sedan feel. The cabin’s isolation from wind and road noise allowed them to drive in peace. The 8-inch touchscreen is the basic infotainment screen in the Sonata Hybrid. It’s easy to use. The middle stack houses physical buttons and knobs that are clearly defined and placed ergonomically. This allows for easy climate changes. The Hyundai Sonata Hybrid can hold up to five people.
You’ll find plenty of space in the front seats if you are taller than the average person. The spaciousness will appeal to second-row passengers, but they will not be as pleased with the reduced legroom as in comparable hybrid sedans. The Sonata Hybrid’s trunk space is 16 cubic feet. This is much more than many midsize sedans. The Hyundai Sonata non-hybrid has the same amount. The trunk can hold large objects thanks to its split-folding rear seat. The trunk’s rest dimensions are a little smaller than the pass-through.
Engine
Sonata’s hybrid drivetrain combines a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor to produce 192 horsepower. The hybrid is very easy to drive, regardless of whether you are cruising on the highway or at a stoplight. When the vehicle is in sports driving mode, it might shift smoother than the standard six-speed automatic transmission. The transition from hybrid to pure gas power is not as seamless as it should be.
Some hybrids are more efficient than others, however. The EPA predicts that the 2024 Sonata Hybrid Blue standard will achieve 50 mpg in the City and 54 mpg while on the Road, which is the average for this class. The SEL and Limited trims will get 45 mpg in the city and 51 mpg respectively on the roads.
2024 Hyundai Sonata Release date
Hyundai has yet to announce the release date for the next Hyundai Sonata. However, the presently available model was available in December 2022 to accommodate the 2023 model year. We expect the Next Hyundai Sonata to be available in 2023 for the model year 2024. We will however update this article when Hyundai announces its launch date for the 2024 Model Year.
