Because it is much cheaper than similar midsize SUVs made in Germany, the Hyundai Santa Fe is an excellent deal. Although Hyundai’s 2024 Santa Fe has been around for three years, the company has already released several newer models. It’s still a great investment due to Hyundai’s recent success and will likely gain more attention in the future.

It doesn’t appear to be a low-budget product, which is its strength. It is powered by gas-only engines with 191 to 281 horsepower. This luxury vehicle offers many options and a comfortable cabin. It can be purchased as either a plug-in or a hybrid. The latter’s power numbers are almost identical to the turbo-only gas model’s. It’s an impressive rival to the Honda Passport or Kia Sorento. Even if you don’t like a German SUV, this might be a good option if you want to save money on auto insurance.
2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Concept
Hyundai Santa Fe’s first introduction in 2011 has seen many design changes. However, for 2024 the same design was used with no modifications to the standard trims. The XRT trim this year offers visual cues like hefty body cladding and XRT distinct external trimmings, alloy design cross-off rack, and other exterior trimmings to make it appear more robust than the standard Santa Fe. The headlights are the T-shaped DRL and must be mentioned when we talk about the appearance.
Santa Fe’s Calligraphy trim has a body-color rear bumper that matches the Calligraphy trim. It features a large chrome surround and adds weight. The large grille, which seamlessly connects to the pilot light, is given a dark chrome finish. The sides of the A and B-pillars have been darkened. This exposes a few wrinkles. The most prominent feature of the rear design is the central light bar running across the tailgate linking the taillights.
Interior
With cloth seats, the Hyundai Santa Fe cabin exudes luxury. The latest linked technologies are available and there is plenty of space for everyone to relax and spread out. Hyundai has made significant improvements in product quality over the past ten years.
The products’ quality improved from being slightly behind European competitors to matching theirs at a lower price. One of the biggest complaints about previous models was the lack of buttons on their central console. Santa Fe’s central console used to be cluttered with buttons. It looks the same as the Palisade today. This phone is easier to use because it has fewer buttons and more storage. The most expensive models include leather seats and Harman Kardon’s sound system.
For the SE and SE-SEL versions, only black, beige, or gray cloth seats are available. With every exterior color available, you can’t match all of the options. The Calligraphy model comes in two options: black Nappa leather or Coquina Beige with quilting, and the Limited comes in the same interior colors. As an added charm, the Calligraphy model has quilted door panels and a beautiful eco-sued microfiber header. Only the new XRT model is available in black. The standard Blue model has fabric upholstery for hybrids and PHEVs. The SEL Premium and SEL Limited models have leather. Only black and beige are available here.
Engine
In 2024, the Hyundai Santa Fe will have two engine options. A 2.5-liter inline-4 engine normally aspirated produces 191 horsepower and 181 pounds of torque with an automatic gearbox. Only the Calligraphy and Limited trims have the 2.5-liter turbocharged, inline-4 engine with an eight-speed dual-clutch automated transmission.
It produces 277 horsepower and 311 lb. ft of torque. Both the engine as well as the powertrain can be ordered in FWD or AWD versions. The FWD variant is $1,700 less than the AWD. The standard engine can tow cargo and passengers at a maximum weight of 2,000 pounds. The turbo-top four can tow 3,500.

When pushed to its limits, the standard engine’s performance is poor and it runs out of gas quickly. The turbo-four engine is a cracker, on the other hand. The dual-clutch gearbox can jerk when changing into high gear on freeways, despite this.
The eight-speed transmission is recommended unless Hyundai repairs or replaces the transmission with the base engine’s eight-speed gearbox. The 2024 Santa Fe’s acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes 8.9 seconds using the regular engine, but the turbo-four motor reduces that time to a respectable 6.0 seconds.

2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Price & Release Date
The SE starts at $27,200 and goes up to $29,000 for SEL models. The Hyundai Santa Fe’s flashy XRT version will be worth $32,300. This is a significant price increase, as the difference in base model prices and Limited trims of $38,960 represents a substantial increase in value. For the best calligraphy, you will need to spend $40,960. AWD adds $1700 to any variant’s price. All 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe vehicles sold in the United States are subject to a $1,185 destination fee.
