Ford has launched the new 2024 Ford Mustang. Customers can already improve their performance with an optional Performance Package. This adds track-oriented features and options to the iconic sports car. Let’s take a look at the Performance Package, starting from the front
and ending at the rear.
An auxiliary oil cooler is located at the front end of the S650 Mustang to maintain the proper temperature for all spinny parts. A set of brake ducts is installed for the 390mm front Brembo discs. These bring the larger wheels and tires to a halt (front and back).
Performance Package has a faster steering ratio to enable better cornering dynamics. This is also helped by lower compliance between the tires and the steering wheel. This tighter steering gives you more confidence and provides better straight-line power.
Although we don’t know if the engine will be more powerful if it is equipped with the performance pack, we’ll let you know when. You’ll also find a brace under the hood to increase rigidity and MagneRide active suspension.
2024 Ford Mustang S650 Performance
Both the Coyote V8-powered S650 Mustang and the EcoBoost are available with the Performance Package. It can be used with either an automatic or manual transmission. Active rev matching is a feature of manual transmission models that allows the engine to be run at a certain speed while the clutch is engaged. This makes for a thrilling and enjoyable driving experience.
The S650 Mustang’s seats are now equipped with Recaro units. This ensures that the driver is in the correct spot and can operate the segment-first electronic drag brake. The Performance Electronic Parking Brake was designed to enable novice and pro drifters to practice their skills on a closed track.
The axle has a Torsen limited-slip differential and massive 355mm rear Brembo brakes. An active exhaust system allows the engine to give its full potential.
