Ford tested this performance variant for the new S650 Mustang. This is not the new Mach 1. It’s not a new Shelby GT350. The 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse. The Coyote V8 engine is at 500 horsepower under the hood. Ford Motor Company claims that this Coyote V8 Mustang is the most powerful.
2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse Redesign
This high-output version of the piston connecting rods was first introduced in the S550 Mustang Shelby GT500, which produces 760 horsepower. Mustang Dark Horse will offer the best performance in the new Mustang family. The S650 Ford Mustang Dark Horse includes a six-speed Tremec manual transmission and a standard 3D-printed titanium shift ball. The Dark Horse comes standard with a special transmission oil cooler. A 10-speed automatic transmission is available for those who want it to be a bit easier.
The S650 Ford Mustang Dark Horse features brake cooling NACA conduits, an auxiliary oil cooler, and a rear axle cooler. It also includes brake-cooling NACA and brake-cooling NACA, as well as a rear axle cooler. A unique radiator with increased cooling capacity and powerful cooling fans provides stopping power. MagnaRide dampers are also featured in the Dark Horse. They include a Ford Performance-designed brace and Kbrace that provide better feedback and handling. The Torsen rear differential is located in the rear. Standard Pirelli P Zero PZ4 tires are standard with staggered fitting wheels measuring 19 inches by 9.5 inches in front and 19 inches by 10 in the rear.
The 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse features a new Handling Package. This package delivers the highest downforce and most power to any Mustang. It includes a rear wing with an integrated Gurney Flap similar to the Ford GT. The Handling Package adds stiffer springs, wider front, and rear sway bars, wider Pirelli Trofeo tire tires, and 19-inch by-10.5-inch front wheels and 19-inch by-11-inch rear ones. Carbon Revolution’s optional carbon fiber wheels will be available at the end of the model year, which is the first time that they have been offered to non-Shelby models.

The front design is based on the 2024 Mustang GT but has a unique front-end design. This is enough to differentiate a Dark Horse Mustang GT from a regular Mustang GT. The front end is highlighted by the all-new tribar LED headlights. The grill pods and front grill are based on the GT’s regular GT. It has a track-ready appearance thanks to the redesigned low grille and front spoiler.
The 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse is a step up from the regular GT model. It features a larger front grille and open nostrils to improve cooling. It also has a darker strip around the headlights and front grill than the regular GT. The Blue Ember paint can identify the Dark Horse Mustang. It will be easy to identify the Dark Horse Mustang even if it is painted in other colors.
The “Dark Horse” logo, located at the side-front ends of the image, represents the brand new 7th generation. Ford now offers lightweight carbon-fiber wheels in an exclusive design and a Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS tire with the Dark Horse Mustang. The wheels are 19 inches. The Standard front Rim measures 9.5 inches wide and the rear is 10.0 inches. The optional handling package raises the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS tire’s width to 10.5 inches at the front and 11.0 inches at the rear.
Dark Horse has the same rear design as the 2024 Mustang. The 7th-gen Mustang’s distinctive taillight design enhances its rear profile. The angular-top rear design was able to spark conversation. The 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse receives new, permanent-fixed carbon fiber rear wings with an exclusive design. For the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse, a rear wing is available with a Gurney flap to increase downforce. A prominent diffuser and quad-tipped exhaust pipes complete the rear bumper. The new exterior design and metal-sheet stylings help to improve road stability and handling.
Interior
It has the same interior design as the 2024 Mustang. It features a 12.4-inch digital measurement cluster and a 13.2-inch multimedia touchscreen. The Mustang’s Sync 4 interface has been redesigned and is now open to over-the-air upgrades. Ford now offers Dark Horse mustang a new appearance package that includes Deep Indigo Blue seats with special holes. Ford claims that the flat-bottomed steering wheels will allow for race-car-inspired control on both the road and track.
Transmission, Engine, and Performance
It can still be heated with gasoline! Ford provided the 2024 Mustang with a petrol-flavored V8 and a manual transmission. The 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse features a naturally-aspirated 5.0-L Coyote engine and a Tremec 6-speed manual gearbox. The Dark Horse Mustang’s performance-upgraded fourth-generation Coyote V8 produces 500 horsepower and 418 lb-ft torque.
The 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, which is street-legal and track-focused, is the most powerful Ford Mustang ever made. Upgrades include a unique balanced crankshaft and forged piston connecting rods. The Mustang Dark Horse comes standard with a 6-speed manual transmission. A 10-speed automatic transmission option is available. They power the rear wheels using a limited-slip differential, no matter what you choose.

Ford has now confirmed that the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse will be available for sale. It should go on sale in the summer of 2023. The price of the 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse has not been disclosed by the manufacturer. The 2024 Mustang Dark Horse is the most powerful Ford non-Shelby edition. It can be purchased starting at $60,000. The 2024 Mustang Dark Horse will also be available for purchase in the summer of 2023, along with the 2024 Mustang GT and the 2024 Mustang Ecoboost.
