For anyone looking for a reliable people-hauler that is also able to perform at high levels of athleticism, the MDX is an excellent choice. The new generation is almost unbeatable in every aspect. The Acura MDX 2024 will be its third year of production. We don’t expect any major changes. Minor changes, such as new features and color options are always possible.
The same design is available with many outstanding features. It is very attractive and offers a great driving experience. For such a small vehicle, the engines are powerful and the handling is excellent. Standard equipment is easy to find, but the biggest problem is the complicated infotainment screen.
2024 Acura MDX Design
As we mentioned, the 2024 Acura MDX will be the third generation. We don’t expect any major changes. Acura’s distinctive sharp edges will continue to be used to keep the SUV mid-size looking familiar. Minor changes may be made, including new colors. The Type S is also a high-performance model with unique styling and many mechanical upgrades.
The Type S features a more extensive Brembo brake system as well as an upgraded suspension. Even the base model is capable of handling well. This is one of the most fun models in its class. This is particularly true when you consider the well-known SHAWD system from the company. It is optional in the base models but is available in the Type S.
Interior
The MDX’s cabin may not be as lavish as other interiors but it is very comfortable. The MDX’s center console and dashboard still offer a lot of controls. This is a great feature for older generations. It is attractive and made of high-quality materials. It is solidly built and provides good sound insulation. There are no major problems.
Acura’s front seats offer comfortable and large support. Acura is known for its great driving position. The second row provides plenty of room for passengers and comfort. The third row, however, is too small for children and not suitable for adults despite the longer wheelbase.
The SUV’s strongest point is its cargo space. This SUV is very spacious for its segment, with a volume of 16.3 cubic feet behind the third row and 39.1 cubic feet behind the second row. It also has a maximum cargo space of 71.4 cubic yards.
Features
Most car manufacturers offer new standard features every year. These features may be included in the Acura MDX 2024. Most of the features will remain unchanged and there are very few changes. Acura’s SH-AWD system with torque vectoring and a 10-speed auto are standard features on the Type S.
The base engine can return approximately 19 mpg in urban areas and 26 mpg on the highway. This is a typical segment. Type S is more efficient, returning about 17 mpg per city and 21 highways.
2024 Acura MDX Release Date and Price
